Innovatius Ltd was founded by Dr Robert Lucas to provide scientific consultancy and technology development services to the chemical and agriculture industry, focusing on development of green sustainable technology that can help farmers maximise crop yield, drive efficiencies and build security into their business
With a passion for science and innovation it was natural, following my PhD, to develop into an experienced inventor; over my 27 year career, developing novel solutions in a variety of industries including medical implants, medical devices, consumer products and more recently the agriculture industry.
Combining my love for the environment, countryside and farming community with my technical innovation skillset has been an organic progression. Innovatius Ltd has been founded with a focus on developing green sustainable technologies capable of supporting the chemical and agriculture industries.
A strength throughout my career has been to embrace change and adapt to new scientific areas of interest, conceive novel technical insights, and apply practical solutions that deliver benefits to business, individuals and the environment. Fund sourcing (internal budget and external grants), technology partnerships, intellectual property, and prototype development have been essential aspects to delivering successful proof of technology outcomes.
Innovatius’ current development includes the development of Prop-air-gate technology to support farmers fertilise their land in an efficient and cost effective way that removes their reliance on fossil fuel based technology, whilst maximising a flexible approach to soil management and crop yield.
